Ingredients
-
8 chicken thighs with bone and skin (or drumsticks or any chicken parts you want)
-
Salt and black pepper, as much as you like
-
3 spoons of butter (no salt in it)
-
4 pieces of garlic, chopped small
-
1/4 cup of brown sugar, pushed down tight
-
1 spoon of honey
-
1/2 spoon dried oregano
-
1/4 spoon dried thyme
-
1/4 spoon dried basil
-
1/2 spoon dried parsley
Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken: Directions
-
Use butter only if you want crispy brown chicken skin first—add salt and pepper, then cook it quick in a pan (skip butter if not).
-
If skipping the browning step, just mix salt, pepper, and all other stuff right with the chicken in your slow cooker.
-
Set it on low heat for 6 hours. The sauce won’t cover all the chicken, so flip the pieces and spoon sauce over them whenever you remember.
-
After 6 hours, if sauce is too runny, pour it into a pan on the stove. Heat it up to make it thicker with a sweet, caramel taste. Yummy, Enjoy….
