Ingredients

  • 800g cut-up chicken breast or thigh

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 3 cups chopped mushrooms

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 400g can chopped tomatoes

  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 200g chopped bacon

  • 200g chopped broccoli or cauliflower

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup cream (add near the end)

  • Fettuccine pasta (pre-cooked and mix in at end, or add 1 hour before done if there’s enough liquid)

Chicken Fettuccine: Directions

  1. Put in all ingredients except cream and pasta.

  2. Cook on low for 4-5 hours.

  3. After 4 hours, add the fettuccine.

  4. When done, mix in the cream.

  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
