Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast, cut into small pieces

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

  • 2 small zucchinis, sliced thin

  • 2 chorizo sausages, sliced

  • 300g green prawns (with shells)

  • 300g green mussels in shells

  • 1 cup white wine

  • 1 cup chicken stock

  • 3 shallots (or 1 small onion), sliced

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon saffron

  • 1 cup Arborio rice

Chicken-Prawn-and Mussel Paella: Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium fire. Brown the chicken pieces, chorizo, and sausages until they turn golden.

  2. Put everything except the rice into your slow cooker. Set it to low and cook for 5 hours.

  3. Stir in the Arborio rice. Cook for 1 more hour until rice is soft and ready.
