Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken mince

  • 1 big chicken breast

  • Garlic (use as much as you like)

  • 2 or 3 grated carrots

  • 1 brown onion

  • 1 or 2 chicken oxo cubes

  • 2 packets taco seasoning

  • 1 jar salsa

  • 1 can tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup water

  • Tortillas

  • Cheese (pizza or tasty kind)

  • Sour cream

Chicken Taco Tortilla Stack: Directions

  1. Chop the onion small. Brown it with garlic and meat in a slow cooker on low heat.

  2. Shake taco seasoning and oxo cube over the chicken. Stir it all up well.

  3. Toss in grated carrots, tomatoes, salsa, and water.

  4. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours until it gets thick and yummy.

  5. Rub oil in a pie dish.

  6. Stack meat first, then cheese, then a tortilla. Keep going until done.

  7. Top the last layer with meat and lots of cheese.

  8. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes till cheese melts.

  9. Dig in and enjoy!
