1 piece corned beef, washed clean (pick a size that fits your slow cooker)

For the Marinade:

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons wholegrain mustard (with seeds)

For the Honey Mustard White Sauce:

80g plain flour

80g butter
-
500ml milk
-
500ml saved cooking liquid (stock) from the beef

Mix the marinade ingredients together in a little bowl.

Spray your slow cooker with cooking spray. Put the beef inside.

Pour the marinade all over the beef. Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours.

When done, pour the liquid (called stock) into a jug. Save it—don’t throw it away!

In a pot, melt butter on medium heat. Add flour and stir for 3-5 minutes.

Pour in 500ml milk and 500ml saved stock. Whisk softly until it gets thick. (Add water if you don’t have enough stock.)

Serve the beef with the creamy honey mustard sauce.
