Cook Time: 6 hours
Total Time: 6 hours 15 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
8 small lamb loin chops (you can use other lamb cuts)
-
400 ml coconut cream (one can)
-
1 heaped tsp cornflour
-
1 heaped tsp minced garlic
-
1 heaped tsp beef stock powder (I use Massel)
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 packet French onion soup mix (dry)
Lamb Chops in Creamy Gravy: Directions
-
Put the lamb chops in the bottom of the slow cooker.
-
In a bowl, mix the coconut cream, cornflour, minced garlic, beef stock powder, Worcestershire sauce, and French onion soup mix until smooth.
-
Pour the sauce mixture over the lamb chops so they are covered.
-
Cover the slow cooker and cook it on low flame for 6 hrs. (Use a tea towel over the lid if you like the Tea Towel Trick.)
-
After cooking, check that the lamb is tender and the sauce is thick. If needed, stir and thicken more with a little extra cornflour mixed in cold water, then heat briefly.
-
Serve the lamb chops with the creamy gravy and your choice of side.
