What You Need
For the Chicken Marinade (soak chicken overnight):

1 tsp garlic paste

1 tsp ginger paste

1 tsp Chinese 5-spice powder

½ cup light soy sauce

2 tbsp honey

¼ tsp chili powder

2 tsp red food color (if you want)

For the Fried Rice

1 ½ cups white long-grain rice (like SunRice)

3 eggs

2 tsp sesame oil

1 carrot, shaved thin like ribbons

3 green onions, chopped small

2 garlic cloves, smashed

1 long red chili, chopped fine

2 tbsp low-salt soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

½ cup frozen peas (let thaw)

Peking Chicken Fried Rice Making Steps

Mix marinade stuff and soak 2 chicken breasts overnight in the fridge.

Cook rice in microwave on high for 10 minutes until mostly done. Spread on a baking paper tray to cool. Sprinkle a pinch of turmeric and stir it in for yellow color.

Fry chicken in a pan until cooked. Slice it thin.

Put sliced chicken and all other ingredients (rice, eggs, veggies, sauces) in a slow cooker on low for 2 hours. No towel needed! Serve with chili slices on top.
