Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (any kind of chicken works!)
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- Soy sauce to taste (about 1 tablespoon)
- Garlic to taste (about 1 clove)
Brown Sugar Marinated Chicken: Directions
- Put the tomato sauce and brown sugar into a bowl and mix them together really well.
- Add a little soy sauce and garlic. Try a little bite and see how it tastes. Add more if you think it needs it!
- Rub the sauce all over the chicken so every part gets coated.
- Put the chicken into your slow cooker. Pour any leftover sauce on top of it.
- Put the lid on. Cook it on high for 3 to 4 hours, or on low for 6 to 8 hours. It’s done when the chicken is soft and cooked all the way through!
🍗 Tip: Cooking it on low for longer makes the chicken extra soft and juicy!
