Ingredients

900 g beef blade steaks (bone-in)

3 tablespoons red wine

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 can diced tomatoes

1 cup chicken stock

2 onions, sliced

3 garlic cloves, crushed and chopped

1 chorizo sausage, sliced on the diagonal

200 g mushrooms, halved
Beef & Chorizo Casserole: Directions

Put the sliced onions, crushed garlic, chorizo slices, and halved mushrooms into the slow cooker.

Add the tomato paste, red wine, diced tomatoes, and chicken stock. Stir everything gently.

Add the beef steaks. You can leave them whole with bones, or remove the bones and cut the steaks into large chunks.

Stir the pot again so the sauce covers the ingredients.

Put the lid on the pot and cook it on low heat for about 8 hours, until the beef is soft and easy to pull apart.
