80 g oil

2 tablespoons honey (you can skip it if you want)

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon dried chili flakes

Salt and fresh ground black pepper

1.2 kilos of chicken (I picked 9 chicken drumsticks)

2 lemons, cut into quarters

1 garlic bulb, cut in half through the middle

4 shallots, peeled and chopped up

1 teaspoon dried oregano

In a little bowl or cup, mix the oil, honey (if you want it), paprika, onion powder, chili flakes, salt, and pepper by stirring fast.

Put the chicken in your slow cooker bowl.

Pour the oil mix all over the chicken. Turn it around so every side gets covered.

Put the lemon pieces, garlic, and chopped shallots around and under the chicken. Sprinkle the oregano on top.

You can cover it and stick it in the fridge to sit for 2 hours or all night (I didn’t do that part).

Cook it on low heat for 8 hours, or on high heat for 4 hours.

Serve it with rice and steamed veggies.
