Chicken & Chorizo Tart. This yummy tart mixes juicy chicken bits, spicy chorizo chunks, sweet peas, and gooey cheese in a creamy egg mix. Baked on soft flatbread in a slow cooker, it makes one big pie for a 6-liter pot or two smaller ones in a 3-liter like mine—perfect for sharing with friends!

Ingredients

2 cups diced cooked chicken

3 diced chorizo sausages

1 big onion, sliced thin

2 cups frozen peas

2 cups grated tasty cheese

10 eggs

300 ml cream

2 pieces Lebanese bread (flatbread)

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for cooking onions
If using a 6 ltr SC this will make 1 large or if smaller SC will make 2..My SC Is a 3 ltr so i get 2 out of this recipe!!
Chicken & Chorizo Tart: Directions

Grease and line your slow cooker with baking paper. Put the Lebanese bread inside.

In a pan, cook onions until see-through with olive oil. Add chorizo, chicken, and peas. Stir!

In a big bowl, gently mix eggs and cream. Stir in cheese and the chicken-chorizo mix. Add salt and pepper.

Pour it all over the bread in the slow cooker. Place a tea towel on top, then cover it with the lid.

Cook on high for 2 hours. Enjoy! 🙂
