Ingredients

500g ground beef

435g can of refried beans

1/2 cup canned red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

400g can chopped tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
To Serve:

Corn or tortilla chips

Grated cheese
-
Sour cream
-
Mashed avocado
Beef Nachos: Directions

Mix all the nacho ingredients in your slow cooker.

Cook on low heat for 5 hours.

Put chips on plates. Spoon the meat mix on top and sprinkle with cheese (check notes).

Add a scoop of sour cream and mashed avocado.
Notes
We love popping the plates in the microwave for 30-60 seconds to melt the cheese just right before other toppings—it’s optional and yummy! 😊
