Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate ☕🍫🤤

Ingredients:
6 cups Milk
2 cups Heavy Cream
170g Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup White Sugar
1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
1 cup Marshmallows (Optional)

Method:
1. Combine all ingredients in 5L Slow Cooker.
2. Whisk vigorously until the Cocoa Powder is dissolved and ingredients are combined well.
3. Cook on Low for 2-3 hours, whisking occasionally so that the Chocolate doesn’t burnt on the bottom. (I whisked every 20 mins or so)
4. Add Marshmallows and stir before serving or serve and add desired toppings.

Makes about 8 cups.
I cooked it for 2 hours and it tastes great! 🤤🤤

Question….. I wonder if this would keep in the fridge. Do you think it could be reheated on the stove top/microwave?

Answer…… Don’t see why not. Just wouldn’t be best freezing because of the cream and milk but you could store it in the fridge for a couple days and just reheat on the stove.

2. Question….. Can you use lactose free milk and cream?

Answer……. Honestly don’t see why not. My partners lactose intolerant and I usually substitute anything for his stuff. Could give it a try with the small batch before making a huge one. ☺️

3. Question……. When you say heavy cream, do you mean double?

Answer…… yes. It’s Thickened cream or pure cream. I know it’s called other things in different countries ☺️

4. Question…… How many cups do you get out of that?

Answer……. I used those soup bowl cups twice and still have about 2L left’s. Id say depending on mug sizes, you can get 8 cups or so.
