slow cooked creamy garlic chicken. 100% worth a try. Huge hit with the family and so easy 😊
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts kept whole
Salt & pepper
20 gloves of garlic peeled and kept whole ( I even added garlic powder when seasoning the breasts with salt and pepper, personal choice)
1 large onion ( diced )
1 cup of chicken stock
1/2 cup dry white wine
3/4 cup of thickened cream
4 sprigs of thyme
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
Tablespoon of cornstarch
Tablespoon of water
Directions:
Season chicken breasts with salt,pepper and garlic powder seal on frying pan and place in slow cooker.
Cook garlic cloves and onion until lightly golden in the same pan as chicken, add dry white wine and simmer for 2 min place in slow cooker.
Add chicken stock and thyme cook for 6 hours on low
In the last half an hour mix corn flour and water until it turns into a slurry combine and stir. add parmesan cheese and cream let cook for 3O min and serve on a bed of mash 😊
